Hi there, Jim
On 27-Sep-01, you said:

OK, then it could be a problem with FBlit. I've been using FBlit together
with a hacked DblPAL High Res No Flicker (704x546) screen for awhile with
no problems. The most obvious thing to try is run FBlit in Include mode
(fblitgui - FAllocBitmap - Task List Options) and with task logging
enabled. If you then go to the Lists page, you can add tasks to be
promoted.
Of course, if you are brave, or patient, then run it in Exclude mode. Each
time a program doesn't work, switch to Include mode with task logging,
reboot, open the fblitgui, add the task to the exclude list (from the log)
and switch back to exclude mode.
The docs warn against using exclude mode, but TBH, the only apps so far that
I have found to be a problem are Wordworth (which creates a new task for
each document open, so you need to add ww1, ww2 etc, as well as Wordworth
to exclude them all), and DPaint 5. Everything else that I use is OK up to
now.
Failing that, if you want, mail me privately and I'll send you my FBlit
config file if you want to try it.
Regards
Steve
